1984

Uniwide first established and registered with the Securities and Exchange commission in Manila, Philippines

2001

A new Management team buys into the existing License of Uniwide. Corporate ownership and operations is turned over to a new Board of Directors.

With the corporate buy out, the Uniwide office transfers to a more accessible location along Taft Avenue in Pasay City. Its location within the popular Cartimar Shopping Center beside the LRT train line is to offer easy access for applicants, especially those commuting from the provinces.

The new Board appoints a new operations team of Monina Marañon as General manager, Anthony Marañon as Vice President and Operations Manager, and Ana Reyes-Marañon as Marketing Manager.

2002

Anton Marañon (extreme right), Uniwide President joins an overseas marketing trip with a delegation from the Overseas Placement Organization of the Philippines.

With corporate overhaul in place, the New Uniwide management makes several marketing trips to secure job orders from other labor recruitment markets : Taiwan, USA (for Nurses), and the United Arab Emirates. Uniwide actively joins several trade fairs and marketing missions abroad and establishes key contracts for skilled and professional manpower

2005

Uniwide offers Skilled Migrant Services (SMC) and Migration Counseling Services to New Zealand through its partnership with a New-Zealand based Immigration Company, Launch NZ.

2006

Uniwide offers Educational Counseling and Study Placement Services to New Zealand.

Uniwide is invited by the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise office to join a Philippine delegation to visit New Zealand for a familiarization visit.

Uniwide is signed on as an accredited Agent by different New Zealand schools.

2007

Uniwide sends its first Student to Natcoll Design Technology in New Zealand.

Uniwide inks partnership with Skillbase Migration of Wellington, to train and send teachers to work in New Zealand.

2008

Uniwide sends its first batch of Preschool teachers to New Zealand on a POEA work visa.

Uniwide also sends its first batch of Preschool teachers to New Zealand through the 3-month study-to-work pathway

September.

Uniwide transfers location to the Makati central business district. Its new headquarters is in line with its vision of being accessible to a more discerning clientele of urbanised professionals. Uniwide’s new office on HV dela Costa street in Makati is within walking distance from most Embassies and Consulates, and is still easily accessible from Buendia avenue.

Uniwide now accepts inquiries for study placements, career counseling for new Zealand, as well as job applications for key countries worldwide (put link to work abroad page).
